What you will get

The purpose of this tutorial is to have a fully working Universal Messenger newsletter implementation in FirstSpirit.

You will be able to use the usual FirstSpirit editorial environment to create newsletters (optimized for ContentCreator) and send it as a regular newsletter via the Universal Messenger.

The demo implementation provides a sample newsletter design as templates which can easily be individualized and can act as a basis for further customizations.

You can import the demo into an existing project to add newsletter functionality.

Newsletter layout and functionality

The basis for this demo is a fully responsive newsletter layout. It was created with MJML, a responsive email framework.

It includes elements and functions which are usually required with most newsletter projects.

The header and intro include

  • A link to view the email in a web browser. This link will be personalized for each recipient and will be provided by the Universal Messenger. It is not necessary to publish the newsletter page to a separate web server.
