Release 4.2.0 was released in June 2023. This release includes:

  • Kompatibility with UM >= 7.52

  • Service Desk is now part of Universal Messenger

  • Included Plugin ServiceDeskForm

  • Accessible contact forms removed from the standard

  • Bounce Management improved

  • Design optimizations

  • Functional optimizations

 

The default configuration of the Service Desk has changed and needs to be adjusted as required.

Service Desk is now part of Universal Messenger

The ServiceDesk is no longer delivered as a separate plugin, but as an part of the UM.

Included Plugin ServiceDeskForm

The ServiceDeskForm plugin is now part of the standard delivery and thus no longer comes from a separate plugin. If ServiceDeskForm was previously used as a plugin, it must now be removed.

Accessible contact forms removed from the standard

The "Manage contact forms" tab in the ServiceDesk, where the accessible form can be edited, is no longer displayed by default. The display can be enabled again via Service Desk configuration under “enableBFEditPlugins”.

Bounce Management improved

The mailbox from the ServiceDesk can detect bounce and autoresponse emails and can feed them into the classic UM bounce detection.
