The Newsletter app allows the creation of newsletter registration forms within the Universal Messenger. It provides various options to configure the process of the newsletter registration and unsubscription. As an administrator, you can define the form fields in the form wizard, and set the button labels, notes and error messages in different languages. The administrator is supported by a dynamic help function and the live preview, which allows to view the form appearance before the final saving of the settings.

Create a List to hold your newsletter subscribers.

Go to Tools / Apps / Newsletter App and create a new subscription form.

Edit UM/cmsbs-work/webapps/ROOT/index.html to add the HTML snippet.

Visit http://localhost:8080/ and fill-in the new registration form.

Go to Tools / Mail Log to find the Double Opt-In email.
