Development Environment

CSE uses a non-standard directory layout when compared to node(js). (CSE was introduced in 2007, two years prior to node(js).)

CSE development is optimized for and around Visual Studio Code.

However, Intelli-J works great, too, and even seems to need less workarounds to navigate our directory structure.
